New Year's Resolutions

Better late than never right? My resolutions for 2011 are few and fairly straight forward:

Art by Marc Weaver

Do I need to say more??

Well, specifically...
I paint, I draw, I can screen-print, I design. Then I went to business school and I stopped doing a few of those. And with moving around all the time, it's sort of hard to bring along all my art supplies. Packing up an apartment always sucks. So I made a promise to myself that once I became more 'stable', I would get my hands messy again. And I think now is as good a time as any!

I don't think this is actually a painting,
but if it was, it would be exactly the kind
of painting I would love to make

Collages. My favorite thing!
I need to go back to cutting and glueing.
And well, also do digital ones.

I wish I knew who's responsible for these collages

Get a Flickr account

2009 me would've never believed that 2010 me was going to be a little 2.0 addict: With a blog, a Twitter account and a YouTube channel. And now 2011 me is determined to open a Flickr account. Now, I'm not a photographer and I will never presume to be one, but I do have a lot of great pics from all my travels and past lives. And maybe I will have even more good pics from all my future journeys. So why not share, right? I'm also eyeing this new camera for that purpose, a Sony NEX-5. Definitely a step up from my humble yet loyal Point-and-Shoot, but still small enough to carry around in my purse every day. Which is sort of the point.

Ok maybe I'm not ready to go this crazy yet, but it was my fave collection from last year. It's so deliciously toxic, and girly, all at the same time!

Last year I was determined to 'commit to blogging', and as you can see, I have. So lets see what I'm capable of committing to this year... Usually though, I'm a girl of my word! And remember.... It's not too late! [Great post by Seth Godin]

What are your 2011 resolutions?

Love, D.
