Fuorisalone 2010 (Part III)

My last week in Milan was by no coincidence synched with Milan's Design Week. It's an incredible week! And I ended up going to Zona Tortona (where Fuorisalone events take place) like 3 days in a row. It's beyond fun... and there's such a great vibe! Design here, design there, design everywhere!....Ovunque...Dappertutto...

My computer is crashing. It is WAY too full. And adding hundreds of pics from last week definitely hasn't help the situation. Plus I've been busy packing, trying to travel (...key work'trying' since I went through hell last Tuesday at Linate Airport thanks to the stupid ash cloud!)...and finally moving to Madrid, where I'll be writing from now.

So, in short, this is my final selection (1st Day):
I really didn't stop to write down names of exhibitions, companies or designers so for that I'm sorry. I just wanted to enjoy the moment! : )

A very Tim Buton-ish chair tree!
Well a lot has been said by now about Fashion Films, but what about Design Films?? I saw this at DEDON....the chairs previewed in the showroom are included in these theater-like/contemporary dance performances films. I think its quite clever! I can see them living around on Design companies' websites.
I saw these portable plant thingys like everywhere...
Showstopper. And I'm willing to bet it is designed by Philippe Starck because it looks just like the lamps he used for the Palazzina Grassi hotel in Venice.
